Can you define what makes the different tiers of tapes and are they prone to peeling paint? All tape will peel paint eventually, I know, but I am specifically referring to the kind of feeling one experiences while tearing off hockey tape which is why I don't like hockey tape and have been using electrical tape. (3M variety, no Chinese cheapo)

Just to clarify: I know you said the top tier has no fish eye, my curiosity is that if that is due to a different adhesive they are using. Reason again: these tapes ( the ones I am using) have better consistency than hockey tapes when they are being peeled off. I am hoping the 3M radio tape is similar to those, never used it, that is why I would love to learn a bit more. My questions are not meant to doubt you or in any way to annoy you, please don't take me wrong.

The fish eye is when the tape lays down there are bubbles under the tape.
This tape has virtual none. I reallly dont know the different processes I just picked the best of them.
I haven't had any issues of pulling paint or heard of any. With that said: If the paint job is in bad shape I could see someone having that problem.
This tape is Chemical and oil resistance and leaves no residue when removed.
I have sold this for years and use myself.
This Tape Is manufactured In Mexico for 3m and was always hesitate on the china brand.
