No, I was not the original owner and yes, the display in the first picture was with it working. I used it for a good 3 + years. What are you not liking about it?

The plug on the USB data cable has been messed with. Someone removed the pins from the plug, but did not reset the stays on the plugs when re-assembled, (exacto knife comes in real handy here).
Not only did the plug fall off, one of the wires on a pin did as well. I believe I can repair it, which I will try first, Or just buy a new one, http://www.eagletreesystems.com/inde...&product_id=79

You are a long time trusted OSE member, and this in no way is meant to diminish your integrity in any way, stuff just happens.

Hmm, I didn't have or see that and sorry. I did indeed hook it all up to make sure it worked. And if it does become an issue I have no problem with refunding or even partial refund if need be. Just let me know how you want to handle it.

Just looking at the link, are you talking about the USB program cable?? If so then yes I did resolder that and included it as an extra since I didn't include it in the original listing. I did NOT test it though.

YES! the USB programing cable, the download data cable, and "lap top" display connection. This cable is ESSENTIAL to operate this unit, comes WITH this unit, and is NOT an "extra". Like I said, I will try to repair this, or PAY to replace it. BUT, the fact is, I should not have to. Had you fully disclosed, I may not have bought this. We're not talking about a mere scratch, or chip in the paint here. Why on earth did you fiddle with this plug? You telling me that this part is an extra, was a real slap in my face, and is the only reason why I post this. In the future, if you ever advertize a car, make sure that you include that the tires no longer hold air.

So, we're talking about something that wasn't included in the sale. The cable may be ESSENTIAL but was never listed as being included. If you buy the parts separate the cable ISN'T INCLUDED. I just happened to have a data recorder that I bought and included the cable since I figured you'd need one as I plan on selling it too. Guess what, now I don't have one because I sent the only one I had. Guess that's what I get for trying to be nice. I advertised what was for sale. What was included is what was pictured. Was there anything I didn't include from what you saw???
