    A Pair of Hyperion EOS0615i Duo3’s (used)

I have 2 different Duo3’s that I am looking to sell. These chargers have been my own personal chargers for a few years now. They work flawlessly and are in great condition. Duo’s are still one of the most sought after. Both come with the original box, paperwork, and several different accessories. Please take a close look at the pictures because each package comes with a different variety of accessories.

I am looking for $170 EACH and the buyer pays actual shipping charges.

        Interested,
        When were the purchased?
how much use have they had?
        Never a single issue?
        Why are you selling?

I don't recall exactly when they were purchased, but I would guess that I've had these for 2-3 years.

I would say they are on the lower side of use. We only race boats once a month for 6-7 months a year, and you could sprinkle in a handful of practice days in there too.

Correct, no issues with the chargers.

I am selling to slim down my inventory of "stuff" and depending on my participation level for 2015 I am considering trying out one of the Icharger 4010Duo chargers. Besides, I still have another Hyperion Duo setting at home.

Just to be clear my asking price is $170.00 EACH OBO. That wasn't stated very clear above.

          Thanks,
          Mike

You will need a power supply for these. I would suggest a couple of the computer/server power supplies wired in series for 24V. Several people are selling them.

              Later,
              Mike

                  Hi Larry,

Sorry, I missed this earlier... Both chargers are updated to 5.9 firmware (which is the latest). The silver looking cables in the pictures are the USB cables used to update the chargers. For what's it worth I actually updated them tonight after seeing your question.

                  Thanks
                  Mike

                    Hello Mike
I am interested in both units.

How close do the built-in balancers run??
                    .002V ??

                      Hi Larry,

I am not sure I know the answer to your .002V question. I tried doing search, as well as, skimming the manual online. I didn't find anything that directly address your question in the same context. However, I can tell you this; I can (and do) routinely monitor the voltage of each individual cell on these chargers during a charge cycle. That voltage value goes out 3 decimal places (.000V) I can't imagine them displaying the cell voltage at that level of accuracy, but not utilizing the displayed accuracy during the balancing process.

Here is the latested published manual - http://media.hyperion.hk/dn/eos/EOS-...2-MAN-EN46.pdf

In that manual, there is a statement "12-bit Resolution Balance Circuits for max accuracy" If you can figure out what that actually means, that could be the answer to your question. I'm not that smart, I guess...

There is no question these chargers are the "cream of the crop" and have been for a long time.

If you really want to bury yourself in Hyperion Duo information overload you read all 335 pages here - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=960657

Let me know, we can work a pretty good deal since you've already purchased the speed control. I can ship it all together. I can also give you my phone number if you want to call. I will answer any questions you might have.

                      Later,
                      Mike
