    Outboard Flex Shaft sale!

    Hello all,

I would like some extra cash while in the USA, so to make the most of it I will take pre-orders of outboard flex shafts which I will bring with me to the Herb Stewert race in Florida in November (and the November LA SAWS while I am at it).

So make the most of saving postage costs and paypal fees by paying direct into my hot hands with cold hard cash (or some beverages )

    Shafts.jpg

loose shaft pricing will be as follows (USD):
    OS, K&B + Thunder Tiger + Proboat- $6ea (teflon to suit $3ea)
3.5 Custom lengths (ie squared one end for sqaure drive setups) upto 200mm long- $8ea
    7.5 Shafts - $9ea (teflon to suit $4ea)

Let me know in the next 2-3 weeks what you would like so I have time to get them ready to rock and roll. email is probably the best [email protected]

    Cheers
    Kris

Standard pricing including postage and paypal is:

    OS and K&B - $13ea or $32 for 4 off
    TT - $10ea or $29 for 4 off
    Custom - $13.50ea or $34 for 4 off
    7.5 Shafts - $16.00ea or $45 for 4 off

          Kris,
question, do I need to give you measurements? The ones i use are Hyer Performance flex and with the motor adaptor, they are just a hair short and i have to pull the coupler some ways out towards the tip of the motor shaft. I use mostly Aqua Craft 2030 motor with this adaptor: http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...-eobckOS35-5mm
          I use O.S. outdrive.

What I have done for a few people who are using the hyperformance adaptor is make 1 end of the flex shaft a little bigger to make it located in the square drive better. this means it does not wear out the internal square as quick (if you have had one let go?)
I can also make some shafts that are say 3/16" longer than a standard shaft, which will help you out with being able to slide the coupling onto the motor further? this would make the total length of shaft around 5.240" instead of the standard length which is around 5.040"

Thanks , you are right! I am sure you have all the correct measurements but i don't want to cause any mess. I bought these tunnels used and just need to double check that they are indeed Hyper Performance adaptors. Give me a day or two of time and I will look into it.
              Really appreciate your patience!

                No sweat man.
If it looks like the photo you had a link to on the OSE site...then its a hyper adaptor. If it is white 'plastic' then it is one of the ones i made before Hyperformance started doing them all wrong ;-)

just let me know when you are ready.

will you be at the SAW in LA?

I will hang out there, my boats are too slow, if there is a slowest boat record, then I will race.

                            Kris,
the length you gave for the O.S. which is 5.24" will work, I don't know which is better, i.e., to make the square bigger or to lengthen it. I never had one let go, but I had to set the coupler pretty far out on the motor shaft. One set screw is not touching the flat spot. I would prefer to have the correct length. Your advice will greatly be appreciated.
I want 6 O.S. cables, and 4 Stiletto ones. PM me your PP addy and the amount. Will you be bringnng it to LA?
                            Thanks,
                            Tim

                              Hi Tim,

If you want them posted and use paypal to pay, then the pricing will have to be the standard amounts (bottom of first post) with some more discounts due to higher quantity ($75USD total)

                              OR

If you pay cash and pickup at NAMBA SAW it will be only $60USD :)

Either is fine by me :)
