Guys,
I built an extra load bank I use for cycling cells and am offering the extra one for sale. The load bank has two 600W planar resistors that can be wired in series for higher cell count packs or in parallel for lower cell count packs. In series configuration for 8S/10S/12S the load bank pulls around 24A@42VDC. In parallel configuration for 3S/4S/5S/6S it pulls around 42A@22VDC. For the 3S/4S/5S/6s packs you could just use a single resistor for 21A. The heat sink is black anodized extruded aluminum approximately 10" x 6" x 2.5". There are four 24VDC Pabst ebm fans to cool the heat sink which flow enough air to keep temps reasonable. The fans are wired for 24V and are connected in pairs to each resistor. Hence when the load is applied in parallel wiring each fan sees the input voltage. When the load is connected in series wiring, each resistor and pair of fans see half the input voltage.
You can use these as a stand alone load bank or this can be connected to certain chargers like the iCharger 4010 which can accept a resistor load bank. If you do decide to use this as a stand alone system always use a battery checker or cell monitor to check on voltages. And needless to say do not leave a battery discharging unattended.
Asking $220 shipped CONUS. I will ship international at the buyer expensive. Any questions, post here.

The pics show the same unit connected in series and parallel.
