[sale] set of Modellbauregler AS 26.150 EVOII (8S, 150A german ESC)

    Hello guys,

I'm selling my last pair of Modellbauregler AS 26.150BL EVOII. Very good condition, both in genuine shrink tube, see pictures. A very good ESC developed and built in germany. Suitable for twin engine boats, mostly used in high quality builds like HPR 115, HPR C5009, MHZ Mystic 1140 and even the HPR 135/MHZ Mystic 138 class. Convenient layout, small and lightweight. Can handle up to 8S lipo and 150A constant. Work very well together with LMT 2-pole motors.

price: $550 shipped worldwide with insurance and tracking (PayPal payment preferred)

    regards,
    Manuel

    Hi Tyler,

thanks for the bump, sadly not a single request via mail or private message. As one can see here: http://www.hpr-powerboats.com/gallery/hpr-06-gallery/ a lot of people are using them in their HPR06 builds.

    regards,
    Manuel

Forgive me, as I know very little about the various German controllers but am trying to get familiar with them. I see that people seem to draw far more than what the ratings say on some, but the low numbers still scare me, as I have burned my share of electronics. I am building a KBB 45" twin cat this winter, and am looking to power a pair of Lehner 2250's at around 1700kv, on 7s, with the possibility of running 8s just for a couple passes. In your experience, do you think these controllers are capable, or are they a bit undersized for what I want to do? I looked at the link you posted, and the biggest motors I saw people running with these were 2240's. Also wondering how well they resist water, as I have had a history of eventually submerging or flooding pretty much any boat I've owned. Thanks for any input, I know a lot of people really like these controllers, I am just wondering if they would handle what I want to do.

Hi I have ran a set of those in my mhz138 with a set of both LMT 2250 and 2280 on various cell counts. Also had them in my HPR 115 with 2250's on 6 and 7s. It's a very powerfull controller, and at the small size that they are, I doubt you can find anything matching. Only downfall, I think they have to go to Germany for repair. But overall very good value and perfect fit for 19 and 22 series LMT

          Hi Kevin,

well 2250's with 1700kv mean you are looking for a 2250/7 plus the info you want to run 8S makes me assume you watched the video of Florian Schönböcks HPR06 maybe a couple of times (too often?). That is an extremely capable setup but definitely not for everyone. Regarding your questions: That setup when you run it with proper props is challenging for ANY ESC's out there so they are definitely very good and capable of high currents but cant give a warranty that it'll work what you want to do with them. Plus some slight setup mistakes like wrong CG or setting of drives and the current will easily go up by 100A.
Imho if everything set up correctly they will probably do it but as usual for 125mph+ setups simply no room for errors.

          regards,
          Manuel
