Well I got this battery yesterday and opened the box to find a puffy battery... OMG So I PM this seller "Rumdog" and I get no response, so I go look at his profile and see that he logged in bout half hour after I sent him the first private message so that tells me he pretty much knows about the issues with this sale. I was polite and to the point, I kindly explained what I saw and asked for a refund. And I sent him a photo showing him what I had a problem with. Then I sent him another PM trying to keep this from getting ugly and still Mr Rummler chooses to ignore the problem with his sale. What does he think its all just going to go away... Being that this transaction is protected by PAYPAL I'll eventually get my money back. And yes I opened PAYPAL dispute on this battery and now it's just a matter of time...
I ask you all to please review the attached photos and I want your honest opinion does this look like a battery with only 2 runs on it?
I'm not saying it's ready for disposal in salt water but IDT its race ready either but what else do ya do with a puffy battery?
I just don't feel like burning my boat to the waterline ya know!!!
I am certain it has 2 runs on it . I sold a battery to vin-m that had been puffed and sitting in my hot garage for 3 years dormant . It worked the same as the one not puffed. Maybe try charging it and then discharge it to check capacity and balance. I bought the boat he ran that in and it only had 2 runs, he bought your batt for my boat.

Lol wow. I'll message you later. I do work. Also, tapatalk doesn't notify me of PM's. I will say, the battery was in absolute perfect shape when I shipped it. In fact, I don't see puffing in the pics at all.
Hello rearwheelin, thanks for showing up... I don't want to test a battery that I bought that's supposed to be in "Excellent physical condition" as the for sale ad says. Since the condition of the battery clearly doesn't match the description... The ad says "Excellent physical condition" I want a refund...

That doesn't look like the puffed battery my son had. Does it feel squishy? Maybe your over reacting a little? Seems to me like your stressing a little too much. We cycled the battery that my son puffed (he ran it down to 2 .something volts) and it went down. He's been using it just fine. Dinogy are known to be s little puffy anyway (well what I've read, I have no experience with this brand). I think you should have given the guy a few days to do something. Some of us have busy lives so we can't respond just right away. Maybe he read what you said but didn't have a chance to respond yet. He's a active member here, I'm sure he's not out to screw you over for 90 bucks. Give him a chance.
Rum....I'd just give this guy his money back once you get your battery back. Seems like more headache than its worth. When I get a sense I'm dealing with someone like this...whatever deal I'm about to do...I pull the plug on it. Some people are easy to deal with some people arent.

Rock hard. Yes. The cells are "rock" hard. As new. And as per your PM, I know how lipos work. I do not sell junk. I've been in this forum for years, and would never tarnish any kind of reputation I may have by scamming someone into buying junk.
