Very clean and Almost Race-Ready Pro Boat Impulse 31. Ready to bolt in a power system.

Unique in that it is a White hull but has the graphics from the V2 version. I always thought this looked much better than the black hull!

I ran this for the 2012 Nationals at Legg Lake and finished 3rd in P-LTD Mono with it.

Comes with all hardware and the digital steering servo as shown. Just add your Power of choice, an RX, and add the prop of your choice ( or the one I recommend for you. ) and you are on the water.

What did you have in the boat? What kind of speed is the boat capable of? Is it a good ruff water hull? I'll take it contingent on outcome of negotiations.

What did you have in the boat?

My Power system was the factory Dynamite 1800KV motor and 80A ESC.

The hull has everything in it that comes in the RTR package, except the Motor, ESC, and RX. All of the hardware is there, along with the Digital Steering servo and flexshaft. I have tweaked the interior wood slightly to allow for better battery placement when running a single pack. Otherwise, it's all stock inside.

Externally, the hardware is all stock.

What kind of speed is the boat capable of?

Out of the box with a stock power system and prop, it does right around 32mph... When you put a good prop on it (Grimracer 42x55 for example), the speed jumps to 38+. Add a little pitch to that and you are over 40. Put on a prop I'd race with and you are around 44-45mph.

Swap power systems to a Castle/Neu 1415 1Y, and run the Grimracer 42x55 prop, and you are around 52-54mph.

Please keep in mind, this is assuming that you have the rest of the boat setup correctly. Trim on this boat is currently set, so it will be about there.

Is it a good ruff water hull?

It's OK in moderate water. It more of a "sprint" race boat, so it doesn't have a deep draft and the plunging deck line towards the boat can cause it to "dunk" itself if it pierces a wave or blows the back end out (up)...

It doesn't need FLAT water, however. It's a moderate V-angle.

What batteries work best 4, 5, 6s? I want to make this a fast sport setup. With an appropriate setup do you think the boat is capable of a top speed of 50mph with run times in the 4-5 min range. Right now I have 5 and 6s 5000 and 10000mah power with t180 esc and a Leopard 4092/1730. I'm guessing I'll need to at least motor down a bit. for this goal.

Not sure how much longer I will be here.

WELL MY IMPULSE IS OVER THE PLACE AT HIGH SPEEDS SO I GUESS I NEED TO DO THIS !!!ANY SUGGESTIONS IM A ROOKIE JUST GOT THE BOAT LAST WEEK AND SUNK IT ONCE !! well my impulse is over the place at high speeds so i guess i need to do this !!!any suggestions im a rookie just got the boat last week and sunk it once !! Its all stock i have 2 sets of batteries both venoms 5000 40c 7.4v which i was able to control the boat but then i put the the 50c 11.1v and holy *!***!***!***!** !! Oh i want to get a prop for it where do i get one sharpened and balanced kintec doesnt respond to emails or phone calls ?? What prop would you say to go with ???? Ty !!grimracer 42x55 ????
