can you tell me why you're going to a futaba radio? I ask because i just bought my first spektrum radio, changing from my futaba 4pl. do they not work good for boats ? thanks geno

Spektrums work fine in boats, been using them for years with great success. My current DX3R PRO with MR3000 receivers has a range of over 950 feet - never tried further out. For best results, the transmitter and receiver should both have the little boat logo:

Any telemetry parts included? Did you ever use the telemetry?

It does not come with any telemetry parts other than the telemetry receiver. I had the temp sensor on a e revo I used to own but I sold it with receiver. Everything works great. Thanks
