    f/s (2) fightercat esc's brand new

Well I've decided to sell these two brand new esc's I have. I just bench tested them. Work perfect. Here's the deal. My rivercat took on water last time I ran it. It flipped and it took way to long to get a boat out to get it. It started acting stupid and I just u plugged it all and let it dry out. I plugged it in tonight after hooking it all back up and it smoked. Evidently my epoxy sealing job just wasn't good enough. Too many crevices in this esc. So to prevent me messing up another one, I'd rather sell them to someone who has a more water tight boat than mine and me get something that comes waterproof. I have the paper that came with it. I only have one original and one copy. Tell you how to set it up. I have only one program box.

$100 for one with the program box shipped
$90 for the other no program box. $160 shipped for the pair with program box. 1 is missing the sticker. No idea why lol. Like i stated above, I bench tested them in my rivercat just a few minutes ago. Shipping included for us only.

Here's the thing, I never Could find a definite answer on amp rating. Some say 100 (there is nooooooo way that's right) and some say 300a. I had one in my cheetah on 6s, running a x447/3 prop with a 1717 castle which is an amp hog. It worked fine and never got hot. Also had one in my rivercat running 6s on a 2200kv 1515 castle with an x642 prop. Never got hot. Water killed it. I refuse to use tape, and it's almost impossible to waterproof it because of how it built, so I don't wanna chance ruining another one. I actually really like these esc's. If they aren't a high amp esc, why come with 8 GA wire for motor and battery? It's rated up to 16s btw. If you ever heard of flier, that's who makes them I hear...looks exactly like their 300a model.

I did just email the owner of fightercat to see if he could tell me. The paperwork I have on it does not list it. I just read where it's like 100 a at 16s and over 300a at lower voltages. It's built much heavier duty than the swordfish 220 I have. Here's a comparison pic

It does have reverse (if enabled with the program box) and timing is adjustable in 1 degree increments

They are 100 amp. I installed two in Jason's (at Fightercat) twin Rivercat.

At what voltage? Because 100 a at 6s is different than at 10s.......so if it's only 100a at 4s, that would be one weak controller but if its 100a at 16s, it's pretty stout. If it's only 100a max no matter what....it should not have lasted in anything I own.

The capacity if the controller to handle amps is not determined by input voltage

Well. I dunno then. I find it hard to believe it woukd only be 100 amp when everything I've run on them pulls more than that. Why make it so big and put 8 GA wires on it too? Weird.

If someone wants them, make me an offer. I'd rather them go to a good home than me get them wet and fry them.

The idea behind them was to run HIGH voltage, light load for lower current draw...Can they handle more? Not sure....

Well I looked up the fets that it has in it. I took the burnt one apart (not to be mistaken for one in the pic, I have three of these esc's) and it has (6) 195 amp hex fets in it. Part number irfp4368

I was by no means trying to give you any crap, so I hope I didn't come off that way. It's just odd that it's not labeled as such. It says model 101, not 101 amp, so it threw me a bit.

Nah man, I didn't take it that way. I've never seen an official rating on them. They are built robust no doubt, and if they are only 100 amp, then either I'm not pushing them hard or they are seriously under rated. I've seen/read where they hold up under some serious amp draw. I would use them, but i know they will get wet because of my unwillingness to tape up my boat. Do you think I'm asking a fair price for them? I'm trying to sell them quickly to buy the esc I'm going to use in my shocker. I need it to be able to lay everything out...without it, my build on on hold and o really wanted to bring it to Florida with me and drive it on the pontoon boat out in the bay....be some good video!
