    KBB/Rocstar SAW Delta Force Explorer

    This build was a collective effort between myself and Joel (rocstar22) to build a solid IMPBA Q-cat SAW entry. Unfortunately, we were sidelined by wind for 95% of the event this spring, and I don't think either myself or Joel will have time to run this boat in the fall.

    Some features:

    * Scale-style drives with rear supports, customized for the Explorer (you can't buy these)
    * KBB solid carbon fiber SAW motor mounts (extra thick)
    * KBB Solid carbon fiber lipo mounts
    * KBB servo mount
    * Lehner 1950LK motors/jackets
    * Swordfish 200HV 12s ESCs
    * Twin cap banks
    * 3/16" drivelines
    * All stainless steel hatch hold downs
    * LOTS of carbon fiber reinforcement

    This was a "kit" that I made/put together and sent to one of the only other people I trust to build it. Joel did an incredible job reinforcing the hull and building the boat, it really has to be seen in person to be appreciated. Outside is still stock white gelcoat, and of course could be ran as-is, or custom painted by your choice of painter.

    While this boat was built to be a competitive SAW entry, it's actually an intelligent setup that could be ran for fun/sport without changing motors or ESCs. 5s or 6s could be used depending on the speed you desire. The rudder is setup for straight runs/low drag, so cornering could be improved with a rudder blade change. If buyer desires I can make a longer rudder blade and swap it before shipping.

    Trap speed at the event was 90mph, but based on the speed entering the first light, and the poor angle from one point to the other, it's reasonable to expect that this cat had even more to offer.
    For a sport boat I would set this up to run high 70s, low 80s and have fun! I will include one set of props, to be determined by your setup goals.

    $2200 shipped to the lower 48. I'll split shipping costs with international buyers.

    If anyone is wondering what's up with the Traxxas plug connecting the ESCs, it's only there to conform with IMPBA rules. For any other purpose I strongly suggest either unplugging and insulating the plugs or removing completely.
