Howard I think everyone is mistaken, in the first post it says Lehner 3060 and everyone is saying 3080?? a lehner 3060/10 is 700kv and that makes 26,600rpm and that makes more sense, I had a 3060/10 in a cat that did almost 80mph, with a big 3 blade i think it was a Y572/3 but not 100% sure.

Okay, it may be an area thing on the UL1 motor. In the LSH class in Dallas they normally specify UL1 motor only. Jay T. has had his UL1 motor FE30 up to 56mph with a bigger prop, but it didn't handle as well at that speed and was drawing to much current for a full race. I know a guy who ran a LSH FE30 in the P-Mono class because they needed one more boat to make the class and he won first place for the day. This boat runs a steady 53, I run it full throttle 98% of the time and finish almost all heats I start, always in the top three....................Mike
