MHZ 138 Carbon Kevlar Red Bull SILVER EDITION

NO LONGER FOR SALEIt pains me to be doing this but I need to help someone out. I bought this from my good friend Kent. This boat runs unbelievably great. And looks speak for themselves. I'll just copy Kents words from the post I bought it from:

    "Hello All,
Good things come to those who wait. I have decided to build another 50"+ boat, and for that reason I'm letting go of my MHZ 138 54" Red Bull inspired "silver Edition". This is a truly amazing and fun boat with plenty of guts. (a whole build thread exists on OSE)

It can be run very casual on 6s per side at around 80mph, or for more serious speeds on 8s at so far 92mph with 52mm props. It can also run in WYE mode on 12s for speeds up around 90-

100+ depending on prop choice. This is not tested, but quite possible to achieve. (He who want to run a 100mph should know how) To me it has never been an issue as I enjoy the look of the boat rather than the speed."

I have broken the 100+ mph barrier.

    Some of the highlights include:
    - MHZ 138 54" Carbon Kevlar
    - MHZ Hardware rudder/drives
    - x2 2280/5 Lehner Motors with full size cooling jacket
    - x2 160HV YGE Speed Controller +program card
    - Complete custom carbon fiber interior with foil inlay and anodized washers.
    - Double Layer 6mm motor mounts, 12s capable Lipo Slide System
    - x2 MBP collets
    - Savox 1256tg servo
    - 5mm Gundart Drive cable/system ( will easy spin a 57mm prop)
    - Custom thick canvas boat bag
    - 4 each 6S Dinogy lipos

I have it set up in WYE running 12S with 457's cut to 52mm.
Boat has 2 small paint chips on sponsons from a bouy.

Asking $5,500.00 shipped in Cont US all other pay shipping over $65.00

No possible way to part this out and I would not even consider it. But I will consider offers.

No problem. It would just be a shame to piece this out. If you're looking for a hull try Kent or Keith.

Got to keep it as part of the deal. You can buy one on MGM's website.

Sorry to see you have freinds in need and I wish you everyone concerned the very best .
Obviously for you to choose to part with your baby your clearly a very caring person to your close friends
I studied the pix of this boat very carefully and it was this and the Tag builds
They were the deciding factor on building a tribute Cat in memory of my father who passed in December .
Its using a Mystic 138 Bullet Proof (54") hull and a lot more
Get Kent to give you a heads up on whats been discussed .
What I was wondering is given your understandable reluctance to part out the elects from the hull
It would be a shame but if thats your best option and you do consider it could you please inform myself and/or Kent
I would really like to purchase the ESC and Motors combos .
My first preferance was to get this same set up you have ie
x2 2280/5 Lehner Motors with full size cooling jacket
                            x2 160HV YGE Speed Controller +program card
but I made the very hard call to step down in the powerplant currently planned to save some funds

I completely agree with keeping this magnificiant piece of artwork exactly as it was envisioned and built
If it has to be sold as components can we discuss a fair deal where I can purchase the powerplants
I am sure after you speak to kent you will agree the esc motor combos couldnt possably going to any better home and you wont be messed about regarding immediate payment either .

I really hope you get what you need for the entire piece but if it has to be parted out please speak to Kent then myself so we can sort a fair deal to help us both .

                            Thank you
Regards Rohan Walker [email protected] 0412359422 (Aussie mobile) or PM me here anytime .
I am aware of your build. Sorry to hear about your father. I have not lost a parent yet and can't imagine the pain. As for the electrics. I can't part this boat out. It would be a shame and I'd never get anything close to what I need. Good luck with your build. Kent is a great guy and you'll get nothing short from amazing with him.

                            Steve

Using the exactly the same MHZ Mystic 138 54" Carbon Kevlar hull (specially laid less than 5 ever laid up I understand ) .

My tribute Whisky 01 is in the interior layout design and detail finishes such as my Dad's signature incorperated etched into the custom CF interior with the Johnny Walker Scotch's tagline of "Keep Walking ." (Johhny walker being dads name) she is in the draft stage atm and I am pretty sure all the parts are now it too and I have the 20s worth of lipo power 10s 38V for EACH esc motor combo ..

She will be finished off looking like she was built and sponsored by Johnny Walker Black Label .

I will be so proud of her and she will never be raced or driven beond my skills .
Oh Wayne I finally lashed out on a new Futaba 4PKSuper R and 2x R614FS RX units after the replies to my suggestion of using my just 6mth old DX3R PRO that I race all my on road cars with without any prob .

Not taking the chance and will change over all the racecars to Futaba in the next few months so I can sell the like new DX3R PRO and all the genuine RX units I have stockpiled and in use to recover 2/3rds odd of the Futaba lol lol lol
And one last thing, if at all possible, spring for the Lehners and MGM esc's. That extra $$$ makes it worth it. Otherwise it's like putting a VW engine in a Ferrari.
