I don't mean to intrude but just this past Friday I received my Miss Geico from this same seller. It came via the post office clear across the US and made the trip in flying colors. The boat was wrapped in bubble wrap and there were styrofoam peanuts in there too. I guess if it got ran over nothing would have helped it so I'm fortunate. Sorry to hear of this problem.

Im not mad, Im upset that the boat got damaged after all my efforts to insure it and package it like I always do. I was just trying to help other members as far as selling goes to really cover themselves insurance and shipping costs....tks Bill glad it made the trip... DJ

Guys I know you're trying to help but please stay clear of this. It doesn't need to turn into four pages of posts.

Let's leave it to the two parties involved please.

        Thanks in advance.

no wonder our postal service is in trouble. Zach just ship it back with all the paperwork please. Im going to take legal action with Post Office if I have too and that will end up costing them alot more than paying you the insurance claim or paying for stuff to repair hull..I'm sorry, please understand I'm really upset about this and I am not blaming you for being mad either, I would of been too. If I get monies I will get money to you for shipping...You are going to get your money back, I am not a crooked person. This hurt me too... DJ

                Hello,
Are those photos for real, or misleading?
Was there any other foam, peanuts or anything to take up all the volume in that box?
If not, your expecting way to much of any carrier to get this even across town much less cross country without damage.
If what looks to be the case is the case, Im sorry but Im going to have to side with the postal service-that package had no chance of arriving safely.
The boat should have been in that size box diagonally, you cant have it touching any of the walls of the box, you need at least one inch of space between any part of the boat and the box wall.
Wow, this exact thing is the issue with shipping fairly fragile ,large items, your at the sellers mercy of what they judge to be sufficient packaging.
And that inch should be full of something to absorb any shock the box will take in sorting (dropping three to four feet on convayors) and transit.

yes these are real they were taken as soon as I found It was damaged. Everything pictured was how I received the boat. The seller only gave me one option to get my money back which was through the post office. I knew going into this that they could deny it because of how it was packaged.
