Spank me if I'm wrong but they look more like the air 1500kv versions with hard wires out back. I have been looking for a air 1500kv version.

Do they have vented cases and 6mm shafts?

I'm quite sure the one on the right is an air version since it has flat areas on the fins.

      LMK....

Power keep bugging out here Darn it!!

If I am correct and they are air versions, I know you say firm but, I'll offer $130 shipped to Canada.

Let me mull it over with my GF... Plus the power is most likely going to cut out here soon. You can't cut a deal for meeee .

They are most likely 6mm shafts. Problem I have is that I don't know if coolers will seal without siliconing them on because of the flat spots.

            1717 flat spots

coolers fit over the 1/4" round at each end. Flats don't run the full length.

6mm shaft is correct. I have couplers for them(compression type).

I'm sorry Norm, if you do come down in price let me know. The exchange rate is bad these days.

                      1717 motor

Ray, as of right now still available. By the way those flats do not come into play since the o rings seat in between cooling ribs. main body of motor still round. Also, the 1500 kv version of this had no vents at all and leads came out top of motor. These motors were for the 1/8 scale off road r/c's. The ventilated version is rated at 1580 kv. Prepaid
shipment was for lower 48 states only. Don't know if I want to mess around with the custom paper nonsense.

I understand Norm. If I have it shipped it can go to my Niece in Florida 33773. So, this is 1500kv or 1580kv to be sure? Only interested in the 1500kv, not 1580.

When it comes to shipping to Canada, all you have to do is put it in box, label it with address and ship it as a 'motor'. There really isn't much to do for customs unless you have some anal retentive clerk at the PO that hates their job. Most guys just ship stuff to me 1st class or some small packet, cheap and simple. I have a pair of 1521 1.5D's sent this way. It may cost a bit more than shipping the lower 48 but, I'd eat that.

That said, I'm not going to ask you to go through any hassle by shipping direct to Canada.
