1/16 revo VXL and it will only fit the small lipos...
It comes with 2 lipos.
That is more than 20 min running time using including P connector or 50 MPH+ using both NiMH or lipos in series....!!!

The stock ESC, (VXL-3m), is only designed to handle 3s.

Going by the specs, you are right, thanks.
But going by experience and what was tested hundreds of times on newsgroups there is no problem...
Or I should say the only problem is that you need big parking lot to see it flying!!!
With the ESC low voltage cut off turned OFF the esc takes your 2 x 2s lipos as 2 NiMH in series which is by the specs, trust me it works well :-)
