PAY N PAK Scale hydro almost rtr

I decided to sell this 1/8th scale hydro, not interested at this time to get it setup and running.
My son in Fla bought this Pay n Pak scale and I did work on the cowl so it can be run.
I added the pin in the front cowl and two magnets at the back, they really hold tight. The hull was redone for electric with deck hatches that can be sealed easily with tape.
it has the strut and rudder mounted and a turn fin mount. Only work to do is intstall the motor and mount and install the stuffing tube and shaft .
The paint and graphics look good. As you see it it weighs 8.5 lb so it is not a heavy boat.
We just want to get our money out of this so it will sell for $300 plus $50 for shipping fedex ground in US. Pay pal ok

Any idea who actually makes the hull? Is it from a Newton Plan?

It is a Dumas Atlas kit that has been modded with better frame work and more scale sponsons.

To add to Phil's post. This is a Dumas frame, but the sponsons are heavily modified. Also, the paintwork uses Thunderboatgraphics.org graphics, and the paint is 2k Urethane Dupont Nason, with Dupont Nason base. The boat has not been used since I owned it, and painted it..so its a fresh exterior! Mike

Nice boat, Phil. You mention a turnfin bracket, what fin would you run on a boat like this one? Virginia Craftsman? I actually talked with Mike L at ML Boatworks about doing a 1/8 scale, and have been going thru this site trying to familiarize myself with whats available, and the hows and whys of F/E. This might be a good choice of a hull to start with, as a lot of the conversion has been thought out and designed into it. Do you have any other pics of the bottom and the battery hatches?

              Hello Phil,
I absolutely love the boat but with Christmas coming the cash just isn't available. My other plan
to buy it as a gift for my 5year old was crushed before I could finish the sentence.
So that brings me to this, are you open to any trades?
              I have a brand new (weeks old) TP5660 6pole 820kv 6y, came straight from TPpowerusa.com
I also have an strut 1/4" shaft size with integrated dual rudders. Its a very nice looking setup. Has extra weight strengthening rods that mound to the hull and is anodized deep gray. You may have seen them around before. The rudders appear quite hard and will take nicely to sharpening though they are likely to good to go as is.
I am also into knife making and have a hunting blade finished to the heat treating stage. I have some beautiful ambonya Burl, first grade. There isn't another Burl wood out there that's even close to this stuff and is on of the rarest woods out there. I do inlay on the handle and it would be a one of kind knife that's for sure. All the hunters at work have variations of it. The blade is 440cthe stainless steel heat treated and stress relieved and because of the hollow ground glad some of the guys are getting into there third deer before the blade needs touch up
I also do custom pen making, I have just about every style you can imagine and likely 30 plus different woods, mostly in Burl or highly figured. The pen kits are some of the best on the market and some of the woods will blow you away. I also have the new castle high voltage bec, new and bought here at OSE. Interested in a pocket watch over 100I years old, I have quite a few of those keeping perfect time and serviced within the last 6 months. I also have quite a number of vintage automatic watches, most 16I jewelled movement. Most are early 70's citizen, I have a couple Ricky and orient as well. They can be out on a stainless steel band or I have high quality leather deployment style bands as well. Some of these are real beauties! I also have a good collection of high quality folding knives from traditional to tactical. So you can see I have quite a few hobbies and collect a lot of things. Its usually the knives and pens that I sell occasionally. The rest of the other stuff is I collect and don't usually sell but I love that boat. I live in Canada so with the border and all that was all I could list. Well, that turned out rather long but thought it worth a try. Its the miss bud that I really wanted but this is a close second. Thanks for just reading through this. Everything is guaranteed to work or you money back. I'm easy to work with. Thanks for considering! Jeff
