    Phil Thomas 36" Sport Hydroplane

New, undrilled Phil Thomas SS36. He only made two of these. I bought it from Brian Buass several years ago. Phil's manufacturing sticker on the inside says he built it in 2006. The ultimate tape down hatch.

Yes, originally designed for nitro. Having said that, most of the boats we run were originally designed for nitro.

not sure. Just a bigger version of the SS21, which is a great running boat. I bought it to use for SAWS, but won't get to that project.

I was just trying to do one better than the SuperSport45 36" hydro. It was a fast boat and could race with the riggers. It did not do as good as the SSP45 in rougher waters. Mainly due to the power and lift and weight was a bit light with the nitro setup. SO with the right electric setup it would be a good racing boat.

I'll check. Looks like I found a way to ship at a reasonable rate.

Sure you cannot find a cheaper alternative with shipping to Aus.
We are able to get 2 vision 40 hulls shipped on same box for $110 US.

Just would like to see a rare PT hull in my fleet.

                            Regards
                            Dave

                              David,

The problem is the package size. Those Vision hulls make a really skinny package. Do you know the shipment carrier?
