    Keith Bradley built 41" Fantasm

    Hi All,

My circumstances have changed and now i'm close to 2hrs away from the nearest FE friendly pond so have decided to sell the boat rather than have it as a pretty show piece.
The boat is in Sydney Australia and I'd be willing to ship anywhere as long as the buyer is willing to pay shipping.

    I'm after $USD2,200ono

Here are the details of the Boat:
    2x Lehner 2240 - They are closer to 2000kv, 2 pole
    SpektrumMR3000 (Marine) Reciever
    2x Swordfish 8/200
    Swordfish USB link
    Sky BEC
    Beautifully built by KBB!!!

The boat also has a "Scale" type rudder plus the other bits you can see in the pics below (Note: the complete stinger set is neatly wrapped up & not shown).

The boat just needs batteries, props & a transmitter + the hatch reinforced & sealed properly to get going.
It'll need a bit of finishing on the hull, mainly cleaning it up and sanding back some of the resin that was used to plug a few "additional" holes. All in all, this will be a very fast Cat on 5S and in SAW territory on 6S as those Lehners are a beast of a motor .

        Just to clarify:
The "extra holes" were in this hull when I received it...I didn't put them there.
RacinJasin bought this hull off of someone else who drilled a couple holes in the wrong spot, but nothing that will really effect the boat. You would never know they are there after paint.
It should really haul the mail too...2240s are a lot of motor for a Fantasm.

Thanks Keith, should have explained that better.

Per the extra holes, they have all been filled with epoxy and ready to be sanded down for paint.

You may want to remove entirely from box ans assemble the drives and rudder assembly and shine
It up nice so people can see the whole boat. You want top dollar, your going to have to work for it. Either that or list a price more accordingly to what you are willing to show. Its a lot of money and I for one don't understand why it isn't sitting all pretty on a tableland. I would want to see the rudder and drives mounted as you've spent a lot of money there and they are wrapped and put away? Why? If the hatch needs a coat of white paint find out what it is and do it. Then you might start getting people interested. You won't sell this boat while its in a box. Dress it up for the sale man. It's not hard. Shoe people you would like to make a sale. You don't half cover a car and put the parts in the trunk and then throw a top dollar number like that out. Perhaps you could offer it at a lower price and put similar engines in. Use TP motors if you have to. The lehner motors will sell on there own fast. Perhaps even sand the holes flat and touch the are with paint. You may be able to sell this but not doe the money your asking with stuff hidden away good luck.

Thanks for the feedback, guess I wanted to show that is is exactly how I received it from Keith and without my own clumsy attempt to clean it up

If I find time on the weekend I'll assemble it and post more pic's.

                    Thanks,
                    RJ

It is hard work selling boats Jason at the moment. How badly do you want to sell.
