Hi Bob,
Are you sure you tested and charged these packs you sold me ?

I got my packs and I am having a hard time getting them all to balance to 4.2v,

I also tried two different chargers and cell checkers to.
And was charging all the packs at 1c.

The TP took about 3 hr to charge and balance.
The packs cells ending balance were 4.15v & 4.17v the other one was 4.19v & 4.20v,

The Turnigy took about the same time to charge and balance,
And the readings are way off on one of the packs after trying to charge & balance it.
The good one reads 4.15v & 4.16v and the bad one reads 4.07v & 4.32v,
I am not sure how you got them to balance at 4.2v.

Now I still need to test both sets of pack in my Rio ep and try not to have LV kick in on them and if it does I will try and run with no LV and time my run,
So I will baby them the first minute or two when running them.

I will let you know what happens when I try them in the boat.

The last time I used them they charged up fine. That was the 1st week of October. I use a Hyperion Duo2 charger on them at 5 amps. The Thunder powers always took a little longer to final balance out (they would go quickly to 4.15 and then take a bit of time to finish). Even when they were new they did that.. The Turnigys always went quickly to 4.2. Let me know....

All but the one Turningy pack worked ok,
And I got them to charge and balance this time for me.
The top Turningy pack in the picture is the one that will not balance,
I tried to charge it again and balance it and I get these reading at the end 3.93v & 4.40v,
And total volts is 8.40v on the charges and cell checkers to.
So I can not use the two 2s Turnigy packs in series or parallel ether now,
I do not know what is wrong with this pack.

That is strange Lenny. I have never had a lipo go over 4.2 volts on any cell. Sounds like the other Turnigy is OK and well as the TPs. I can kick you back $10 if that makes you happy with this deal. Let me know.....

Money sent. Strange problem. I have never seen a lipo go past 4.2 Volts personally.

You need a new charger or balance board Lenny. Typically that's the only way to charge a lipo to those type of numbers. I'm not saying that there's nothing wrong with the lipo, but your charger should not be doing that either way.

OP, what's the price on item 6?

But all my other packs charge just fine on that board and charger,
And I also tried to charge that pack on my backup charger and it dose the same thing with that pack.
I have some brand new backup balance board I could also try on that pack to,
But I think the packs board may have a problem or the wires going to it.
I did not try to open it yet to see if there is something wrong there.
