I would think it would take two packs... on in each side, wired in series... You would put a 2S pack on each side. I know from experience that, on the stock battery trays, you can fit at LEAST a 6000mAh pack in each side. You connect the two packs in series (which leaves the + of one open and the - of the other open), then connect to the ESC.

Some may think you MUST parallel packs in this boat to get the mAh required, but the 1515 1Y setups are pretty efficient, and don't use much more mAh than the stock setups do, so you should be able to get some decent runtimes (4-6 minutes I would think with 6000packs)..

      Hope this helps.

Tyler,I have decided to run all oval courses. I was going to run offshore but I have terrible depth perception just ask Ted and Dick. Besides I am going to run 1/8th scale, 1/10 Modern and vintage along with P mono, LSH and P cat. To many boats

Tom, Darin is right on all counts about the batts.

            Prop info?

Very interested, but need to see about fleshing something out first before 100% committing.

Start with a De-tongued and rounded tips- X642 -X445 A back cut X645 may even work. Check temps after 3 laps
I am not sure what fleshing out means but LMK if you want it. I race on Sunday so I will not be on my computer until the evening.

Sorry, meant if stock prop (or any prop) was included. Fleshing out means I have to hold off on committing the funds until sorting out a previous arrangement elsewhere to my satisfaction with a seller.......don't want too many irons in the fire so to speak, so don't want to tell you I want it and keep you waiting if an immediate buyer comes along.

Any chance of dropping the Castle motor? I'm not a racer and have a new PB 1500kv that I was going to run in a BJ29 in order to utilize the two 3S packs I have.

Congrats on the sale. Now I'm really pissed at that guy I'm waiting on that is trying to screw me. G.Rose, thanks anyway.
