Not sure what you mean by overpropped, but these are very tough packs and are rated at 228 amps continuous when setup as 10s1p...With a castle 2028 you really should be running 10s2p, which would yield 456 amps continuous, but you can take that advise for what its worth. Thanks, Mike

What about 5s2p amps? My current build is a 12+ pound 34" mono, with a Neu 1515 2200kv, or a Leo 4092 2080kv, mostly for sport. Not sure if 35c would be enough oomph.

Had to buy a new freezer last week, (or lose 50 pounds of meat, etc). Made a deposit at the bank this afternoon but the check was from out of state, so not sure when funds will be available, and I will not ask you to hold up your sale. If the batteries are still available in a couple of days I will contact you. I knew 2p would double mah, but not the amps, sigh, I have so much to learn.
Have been using Hyperion 4s 35c batteries on lighter, smaller, less amp hungry boats for awhile, and have been quite pleased with them. My charger now is Hyperion, so I guess you could say I'm a fan.

Thats cool. They probably will still be here. Amp load ability only doubles in parallel setups, no series. So 5s2p with these packs gives you 455 amps ability, but with the same packs in 10s1p, you would only get 227.5. Where 10s1p wins is voltage output...it doubles over 5s2p. In the end, volts x amps= watts. Mike
