Awesome info and I truly appreciate it. Yes I have acquired a nice Impulse 31 with all the hardware and was looking at this setup based on recommendations and research. Thanks so much again for taking your time.

No problem.... OSE peeps like to help... and btw your stock flexshaft is a .150 on the impulse, which is the same coupler size as the one you are getting in this package... so you wont need to buy a coupler, but I would upgrade the flex as the stock flexshaft wont hold up for long probably with the increased power of the new motor..... get one of these ahead of time so you wont snap the original flex and do possible damage to the flextube... I bet a x442 would work pretty well for starters on this pkg in your impulse... you can also buy K40, K42, K45, K47 Carbon props from OSE to play with until you find a prop size that works well for speed/temps/handling of your particular boat... the carbons are only around $5 each... so they are also good if you run your boats in areas where there is junk (tree branches, etc.) in the water... will keep you from knicking up your fancy Balanced and Sharpened Brass props (VT we have trees lol)... make sure you go with the K series carbon props... from my experience they are the best and flex the least under load equating to the closest performance of a brass prop you will find in a cheap Carbon.

and here are the props I am talking about... good way to start a prop collection without busting the bank.... you might need to start a WTB thread though as I can see his k40,k42,k45,k47 are out of stock... all ones you might want on hand.

Your add is kind of confusing.
Do you still have the esc?
