I wanna say I got it in 2010 . Not a whole bunch of use though I'd say maybe 20 runs but probably not that much. The motor and ESC were paired since new and ran on 4s with one short 6s run. On the 6s run right around 105 amps was the highest draw and the highest the ESC has seen.
I let it go for $135 if its anymore than 5 bucks I'll cover it. Man, I would have to measure it but I think the connectors are 5.5. I'm drawing a blank on that
It's no problem. I am feeling like pm is messing up. I was just wondering cause I don't have any of those connectors right now. trying to see what I would need for a dual battery harness or if you still had the dual battery harness.
Dual battery harness? 8xl is a 4s motor unless you are going saw racing... So it would be either one 4s pack, or two 2s packs in series...... both of which you wont need any harness for if you run bullets on your batts.... the esc looks like it has bullets already....
And GLWS... the etti 150's are great esc's.... I have owned many, and never saw the magic smoke with one... throttle modulation is great too! Sorry for cluttering mods.... just trying to help :)

Thank you for the info. I was planning on 2 2s in series but I am kinda new and I have never used these bullet type connectors and do not presently have any, I have all my stuff set up for deans. I was just trying to see how he had this set up not that it really matters I guess just trying to ask questions and do stuff right the first time instead of buying stuff and frying it. It seems most people in the know use these connectors so I am researching those as we speak. Thanks again.
To the point I am trying to figure out exactly what I am needing to buy in addition to this setup to be able to properly hook up and run. Thanks !

Reason: added info
Yeh deans are good up to about 60-75 amps max... You'll notice it you run close to that your connectors will get hot, and possibly melt solder joints, when you start wanting to really go fast :) bullets are the only way... If you are going to be running under 125 amps run 5.5mm on all your batts so you can use them in parallel, and in series... Jan at kinetic has some nice 5.5mm parallel adapters that work great for our boat needs...
Btw this setup is a really good one for a upgrade to a 27-32" boat... A df26 or df29 and a 8xl is always a nice hot setup! If I had a mono or small to mid size cat and was needing a power pkg for a screamer on the cheap I would jump on this in a hurry... The esc's alone are $160, and these motors are better quality, and more powerful then the knock off fiegao's that come in some of the china boats... Glw the hobby... And follow some of the build threads for good ideas!
