Too much motor for me. I ran this 4 times in my 40" Carbon Kevlar mono, that's it. It is 1200kv, and can take almost 300amps max. HOR
Second run I lit up 6s2p inside and the motor and esc survived. Replaced bearings after total motor tear down & clean. 3rd run was the best, 6 minutes and no heat with new 6s2p dinogy 65C batts. 4th and last run I burned up the AS240... it could only take so much. Sent my batts for reconfiguration to 4S + 2S packs so, I'm done with the 40" hull and 6S boats.
The motor has been cleaned out again, bearings are still great (better than stock). No connectors, just as you see it in pics.
It has been bench tested and the idle current is fine compared to HOR web site, where it came from.
This motor is a horse!! It is very hard to kill as you can see.
It was not the motors fault for the fireworks, just me with either cheap cells and too much prop (Prather 240) for 4 min offshore...
Price: $75 shipped in Canada or USA. It's heavy, going to cost me at least $20 to ship it. My loss yours to gain. Great motor for a SAW cat or mono if you can afford the esc to run it. Yep, this puppy is a monster...
