Ditto. For those who haven't read the rulz:
1a. Every item must have a price listed with it. This section is not for bidding/auctions
6. ALL offers and deals must be done on the forum and NOT in private messages! rule changed to "Must" on 8/10/2012.
I see at least these two violations in this thread. There are valid reasons for all the rules, they apply to everyone, and the site owner requires them to be followed.

Whats going to happen is we will lose the swap shop if people can not follow the rules.
The ones that don't follow the rules should be held accountable.
My response to all the ones that do not follow the rules.....go somewhere else.....
There are many sites to go to.....but if you want to be on THIS site follow the rules and show some respect for others on here!

Welcome to the OSE Cinnabun. This is not your fault as the OP has been a member for quite some time and obviously felt it was better for him to deal in private. The idea of all offers and questions being out in the open protects the buyer and seller from shady dealings and people lying to get over on a decent member. The rules are in place for those reasons. It would be nice if everybody followed them.
This concludes our session on how to buy and sell on OSE.

To be honest, when I first joined, I didn't read all the rules, but I was careful and used my common sense to conduct myself here at the F/S thread and in the Forum in general. All one needs to do is apply some common sense and put oneself in the other person's perspective, or in this case think for the other members for a second, and we will see a decrease in violation.Too many boats, not enough time...
