Kyosho Inferno Fine Design Option 5 with NEU 1527 Dual Shaft Direct Drive! X01 Eater!

Here is the car I bought a year ago from a VERY well respected member on here :) he built it and ran it twice on only 2s2p.... I bought it and have ran it twice on 3s2p and for a few minutes on 4s2p.... on 3s2p its in the high 80's.... 4s2p I estimate in the 120's, and you CAN run it on 5s, I just didn't see the need to.... its over the top absolutely ballistic to say the least, the acceleration is not for the average bear.... I have never seen anything even close to like it, I actually have a vid I will try and get on youtube this evening and send the link to it... its only in the parking lot, but its quite amazing, the car not only accelerates it also handles well, and in a strait line its stability is sheer awesome... it STAYS POINTED..... its also VERY smooth with the direct drive drivetrain....

I will sell this car as seen in pics with the NEU 1527 .5d (2500kv) motor which was made special with dual shafts for this car, .... when running even on 4s the motor came back cool to the touch, hardly acted as though it even participated in the run, and has 5 runs on it The car was a new kit upgraded with the Fine Design Option 5 conversion, the builder who also builds boats on here made a beautiful carbon fiber backbone for the model as well... this is the most well designed electric on road I have seen bar none, its def a very efficient setup. The car will also come with the Bluebird digital servo...

This car will only need radio/batts/esc to run... I would recommend a BIG esc... I ran a Mamba XL2 in it and am keeping the esc as I just bought it for $269 and want it for another project.

Everything in pics is included as is the body... body has a couple minor scratches but looks great running and is not at all beat/cracked up... just went on its roof once on pavement and left a couple minor scratches... The chassis, all components on the car are in pristine condition... I will take a pic of underside later as its beautiful too... I didn't run this only in a parking lot a couple times... its a beauty...

Selling as I just don't use it as we don't have a lot of smooth parking lots around my home big enough to run, as its just literally too fast.

$550 Shipped in the US (look at the cost of the motor and conversion... finedesignrc.com... lol... no haters haha... If I don't sell it I will keep it, its still cool to take out once in awhile when I want to show someone what a real R/C car looks like :)

heli or boat related trades may be considered as full or partial payment...

I value the impulse at $250 and the BJ hull and hardware at $110... I'd need the diff in Paypal funds... I need to upload a vid my misses took on her nikon... It's out of this world ballistic. Tracks like a bullet as well...

Alex I outgrew the mini Helis and spend my time flying my 600efl and 700e... I have a box of old mini Helis myself, and I have to many projects as is as far as hulls go... The boats above I put a value on as I would give my sisters kids the impulse to play with, and I actually have a power system perfect for the BJ laying around... I'd rather just sell it and buy some big thunder power packs for my big Helis... High end high C rating 6s 3300-4000mah matched packs are what I really need... Have 6 sets of 3300's but 4min flight times keep me wanting more.

The right boat trades that would I would most likey jump at would be PT hydros, or a carbon fiber genesis, or 39" delta force, if something else was a nice quality build that might work too, not dying to sell car... I really want to take one run around "Thunder Road" (1/4 mile banked oval track 5 minutes from home.. Owned by ken squire) haha it would def be something... Would dust those racecars no question... Look up even on YouTube what a xo-1 does to a Porsche 911 turbo in the quarter mile... It's not even a contest.. I would imagine this car goes zero to 125mph in 3 seconds at most no joke.

Pic is just to show how two 4s 3300's fit nice, and what esc I used and recommend to use.... I actually used two 4s 4000mah turnigy 40c packs in parallel for 4s2p for the one ballistic speed run i did... i didn't use the packs in the pic ... Also used 3s 4500 35-70c in parallel for the nice 85mph just crushing having fun run :) car could theoretically run 5s and 6s but honestly 125mph on 4s is prob good for most... The esc is NOT included.

Batts and mamba XL also help show how big of a car these are... It's def got presence on the asphalt.

Also if anyone is wondering I used kinetic racing 5.5mm adapters on the batt side of the esc as parallel is a must, this thing does draw some serious amps

Yeh sorry Kevin, really def stuck at my numbers on his towards my number.... and the boats would have to be in perfect shape too. I just don't have any place to run this easily, and my hobby time is limited.. but look up the costs of the sum of parts... the kit is $595 for the option 5 fine design conversion, and the motor included is a 1521 then... this one has a 1527, and that is on top of the cost of the kit... also the digi bluebird servo, and custom made backbone by one of the longtime well known builders/members on here... it added the extra rigidity I think this sucker needs in case it ever did tumble at obnoxious speeds... I only put it on its roof once via a 90mph powerslide in the parking lot... just slid on its roof a long ways :)
