I just worked out though that my computer might not run the sim as we only have 256 MB of ram and I think that it needs 500 MB of ram to run. I will get back to you though.

My final decision would be either a simulator to practice on or a 3D foamie to muck aroung with. Looks like my computer wont run the simulator sufficiently. So if anyone has an unwanted 3D foamie please PM me.

I run realflight all day on my laptop with 256k

its not so much the memory that will be the issue it is the video card..it has to be 3d capable and i think 62mb.that was my only problem it woldnt load up the shadows

I just downloaded the G3 demonstration demo and it runs fine, so it probaly will work I guess ?
