    MHZ Micro Iceberg for Sale

This is an MHZ Micro Iceberg catamaran I purchased in 2005. I rigged it for SAW racing and set several SAW records with it (on four nickel cells). Another Micro Iceberg once held the NAMBA N-2 offshore record of 40+ mph. This demonstrates the hull design is stable at high speeds. If you have ever seen an MHZ hull you know they are of the highest quality - no one will be disappointed in the fiberglass work! The boat is in perfect condition and has been sitting on my shelf collecting dust for several years. It is time to sell it so someone else can enjoy it.

    Length: 17.3"
    Beam: 5"

    Includes:
    Hull and hatch
Motor mount for 28mm motor (under deck)
    Micro steering servo
    Rudder linkage
    Radio switch
Strut set up for a 0.047" wire drive
    Offset rudder bracket
    Stainless blade rudder
    3/16" x 1/8" stepped-down stub shaft for 0.047" wire

This cat will run very well with a 28mm BL motor and 2S to 4S packs. Small packs will be used, it won't draw a lot of amps so large capacity packs are not needed. The drive can be changed to a larger 1/16" wire drive or small cable pretty easily and that will allow more power to be used. Prop sizes will be between 30mm and 35mm.

This is a fun little boat you can almost put in your pocket to take to the pond. Brand new hulls are $136 plus shipping - if they are in stock.

SOLD. USA only. All correspondence will be in this thread only as per forum rules. PMs will not be answered until the boat is sold. Thanks for looking.

    Fluid,

Is the servo glued to the hull floor?

Yes it is, although it could be broken free without much drama.

Boat came safe and sound today, Jay upfitted the boat with a larger wire drive for only the cost of parts, then he shipped it with the stand he made for it, along with a bunch of props for free.... to say the least I am SUPER PLEASED with Mr. Turner!!!! Thanks Jay, have a great Season on, and off the water!!!!
