        SOLD!
Done deal, paid for, getting shipped!
Seller sent me photos & the damage is cosmetic. I would have given it a paintjob anyway!
        Can't wait to get it!!!

This is great. After a whole day of back and forth messaging we agree on the terms, I send the payment next morning, the guy refunds my payment saying he changed his mind due to some personal issue, then I offer 1500 for the boat, says he'll think about it... Now I see the boat is sold to someone else. Why not just be honest and say you wanted to sell it to someone else instead of wasting my time with transfering money and whatnot. What a joke.

You live by the sword, you die by the sword. Now you see why OSE rules call for the deal to be made in public.

Just leave some feedback so that others can avoid this shady seller. On the bright side, I think you saved yourself a $1500 headache.

Both of you are correct. The seller seemed like a cool guy, but turned a total opposite at the end. And didn't even have the decency to hit me up and explain, just went silent. Now these rules make perfect sense.

Wow, sorry I poked my nose into the middle of this.
On another brighter note for you, you can have a big laugh at my expense. I didn't read all of the posts & see that in my haste to contact him, I missed the last price drop to $1250. I spent a bit more LOL. Frigin edit that I am when I get all hot & bothered to buy something.
As far as the damage, the tip of one sponson is crunched but only 3/8" & the inner chine of one side is a bit chipped. I was planning a paint job when I first saw it so a little body work isn't going to take me more than an hour to complete.

1500 is what I offered him to change his mind again, then he sold it to you while telling me that the reason he changed his mind and refunded my paypal payment was because of a personal reason, and wanted to keep the boat.
What I'm mostly upset about is 1) Seller wasted my time with all the pictures of the boat, charger, etc, all day long texting back and forth with pics and just general chitchat, so I thought oh wow, cool dude... and we agree on the total amount, I sent the payment as agreed the following morning 2) he got the payment, said he'll ship with ups, then shortly after texted again saying he can't sell the boat saying he had a fight with his wife... 3) was dishonest about this whole thing as the boat was sold for the same exact price as I offered him the second time... So it wasn't any personal reason, just a bunch of bs. And 4) the guy is full of it as he can't even contact me to explain why this happened, just silent like a mouse. That's called shady and people like that should not be allowed to conduct any sales.

On the other hand, enjoy the boat man, no hurt feelings about this at all anymore. I have the same exact hull at home, i just wanted another one because I'm just a big fan of the mystic hulls.

Anything coming out of Fine Design is a crap shoot. Good luck.
