FS: Aquacraft Revolt Hull and Hardware - White

    Sold

This listing is for a white Aquacraft Revolt hull and hardware. This hull has a few blemishes that range from chips, scratches to some slightly deeper damage that can be seen in the pictures. It should probably get some epoxy and paint to get her into great running shape but I myself have never repaired a hull and am therefore far from an expert on the topic. Servo and hardware appear in good shape.

Prop and shaft are included. Stand is not included and was only used for pictures. This hull does not come motor, esc or reciever. You get what's pictured (minus stand).

As is the nature of this hobby this is being sold as is.

Price is $110 plus shipping ($20-25 depending where you are)

As the hull looks to be in pretty bad shape I will offer $110 shipped to 98218 only because I have some electronics laying around. Let me know if that works.

            Understood but I can't do $110.

            Thank you anyway

No problem, I'll keep an eye on the thread. Is the hull still watertight as it sits? Thx

I am interested in one of these boats just to race. Can you explain what you mean by 'deeper' damagereqiring epoxy. Are there breaks all the way thru the boat so as to leak water? Cosmetic imperfections are OK for a race boat but major damage is alot of work.

                Thanks Pat

The damage on the bottom go past the topmost layer but do not appear to penetrate the fiberglass mesh. The area around the damage appears very rigid still but I have not tested the boat for water tightness. To the best of my knowledge all that would need to be repaired is the topmost surface but I myself have never done such repair work so I am far from an expert, just coming up with a logical conclusion regarding what's in front of me.

If you would like closer pics of the bottom I can provide them.

Here are the pics. Please note that they are very close up so try to look at them in relation to where they are in the zoomed out pictures above and scale them.

Looks like its not going to be water tight without a full repair, epoxy may just be a quick fix.

What's shipping worth? I would go $100 plus shipping assuming it would be around $20

I can accept $20 for shipping but I can't accept $100 for the boat.
