      Thanx Steve,
I would be interested in that plate in the last pic if he would make them.
I would need two for the two barracudas I have. Is there a way to contact the writer of this article to check if he could make a couple for me?
      Thanx, Tom H .

        By the way Steven,
How did you find that article ? Very good reading ...
I don't think I can handle that build.... Unless I had one in front of me to go by.
I have a Hydra120. Ill have to look at that one..
        Thanx, Tom

Go to the top of this page and click the "tips and info".

I wrote that one, problem with making cnc plates like the one in the picture is that you need to make about 100 of each item in the same exact size in order to make the price reasonable. For instance a plate like that may cost about $10-15 if enough were made, but only make one and the machine shop will charge $100 and up. Its all about their setup time and machine time.

Can you solder? If not, its not hard to learn. I would go to the hobby shop and pickup some thin brass plate to practice on. Give it a go.

                  Tommy,
The measurements are 1" wide and 2" long..
Just checked the Hydra120 and it looks to be the same size and would fit.. I sent an e-mail to Castle to see if they sell the kits..
                  Thanx, Tom

I have some copper plate in the shop. I'll swing down the LHS this evening for more tubing. How many sets do you need?
