Fightercat Daytona with hardware and electrics

I gathered all this up intending to build a rediculously fast boat, but just don't have the time, resources, or reflexes to handle that plan. I'm almost done sanding and filling the hull seams, nothing else has been started. Another half hour of sanding should have the hull ready to prime and paint. Other than the filler seen in the pics the seams are glass smooth. The filler was fixing the last few pinholes and voids uncovered during sanding.

    Fightercat Daytona hull
Fightercat 140a 6s ESCs and programmer
Fightercat 110mm stingers, stuffing tubes, cables, and collets
    Fightercat 115mm rudder
    Fightercat water cooled motor mounts
    Turnigy H3126 1300kv outrunners

Over $500 spent, asking $450. I'd rather not part it out right now.

If anyone wants to see anything in particular, let me know.

Has it been drilled? Have you done any work to the interior? Id like to see photos of the interior, transom and bottom. Does your asking include shipping? Thanks.

If you do part it out, I would like to get first dibs on the rest of the parts EXCEPT the Hull, motors & couplers unless the couplers are for 5mm shaft --> 3/16 cables then I would like them too. Are the stingers and cables 3/16 or 4mm? Depending on asking price. Thanks Stephen

The inside, bottom, and transom (other than the seam) are completely untouched. I had planned on laying in carbon/orange glass hybrid, but haven't made it that far. I'll take some pics tomorrow when there's enough light. I tried just now and it didn't end well. Not sure on the shipping. I have the box the hull came in so I know I can pack it up securely, but no idea what it'll cost to ship it.

I believe they're 5mm to 3/16". I know the cables are 3/16", and I'm 90% sure the motors have 5mm shafts. If you're wanting that much of it I could be convinced to do that, finish the sanding and painting on the hull, and put it on the shelf.

Gotcha. I'm going to attempt something involving a standard police issue (ok, I had to buy the thing since my department was cheap) flashlight and an iphone. I'm not expecting much, but it's worth a shot and I have nothing better to do for a couple of minutes...

Ok, that failed utterly, so I pulled the Jeep out of the garage and put the hull under one of the insanely bright lights out there.

Apparently I did work on the transom seam. I had to take a swipe across the corners in the middle just now, they were razor sharp. I vaguely remember there being 3 small spots of either pinholes or slightly low areas that I filled, but I was working on that... had to be over a year ago.

The seller did offer it as a package and said on his original post that he rather not part it out at this time. So to be fair for the seller and shctexas coz he's interested with the package. I think it's only fair he gets the first shot. For whatever reason the deal falls through then I would like to get 1st dibs on the parts if the seller does decide to part it out. :) Thanks! Stephen

My brain hurts. And my spine, but it always hurts.

Ok, I piled everything up on the scale to see if I can figure out what shipping is going to cost. The result was a scale saying, in effect, "get this crap off of me!" My wildest guess is around $20 to ship it, which I can deal with. I have to unload it all from the box and repack it so it won't destroy itself on the way, but (assuming I have enough packing stuff) I should be able to get it to the shipping place I use tomorrow, Thursday at the latest. They're across the street from my drugstore, and I have to go strangle my meds out of them ASAP, so assuming I'm not in jail for felonious pharmacide I can run the box over there. Paypal works for me if it's good for you. Address is [email protected], make sure the right address gets in there.
