Mugen MBX5 1/8 Electric buggy, roller.

I have a freshly converted Mugen MBX5 buggy roller. Its ready for your electronics, comes with what you see pictured only. It has NOT been run since the new conversion from RC Product Designs was installed. I bought it like you see it, and never got around to building it. Everything appears to be well taken care of, but it is a used buggy. Shocks and diffs are very smooth.

$150.00 shipped in the CONUS. I will ship anywhere for actual cost.

I am also willing to trade for electric boat stuff, just depends on what you have. I run tunnels mostly (P-limited, P, and Q tunnel) but im building a Q Mono also. Need a few 6S 5000mah lipos, esc's motors etc. I could also use a few 4s 5000mah packs to. Throw it out there, ya never know.

Paypal, cash or money order only. No checks.

Please ask all questions here, and post offers here.

    This is on IW also.

    Thanks, ~ James

(PS, I dont have a lot of posts on here, but have been on IW for about 14 years, am a moderator over there, and have been the IMPBA National Outboard Director for a number of years also. Im just now getting into FE.)

I'm interested in the buggy. Would you do $125 shipped in the CONUS? I have a Detroit mailing address.

Hi Wally, thanks for the offer, but I cant accept that. The conversion kit alone is more than your offer, and I paid $200 for this roller about 1.5 months ago. I think the asking price of $150 shipped is more than fair, as it will probably cost around $15-20 to ship it. If you want it for the asking price, its yours. If you have FE items to offer in trade, I will be glad to listen to them.

        Thanks again for the offer.

        ~ James

I don't have any FE parts to barter with (unless your in the market for a Turnigy marine motor or a TRex 600 motor).
I'd like to get this as I already have a MX5 nitro so parts would be available to me.
What is killing me on this is that I will need electronics for it and they're not easy to find..

What Turnigy motor do you have?

Electronic packages (ESC/motor) are available at many places. Turnigy, Castle, Tekin, etc etc all have combos for 1/8th scale buggies and truggies

I have a Turnigy BL3656-2700 with the integrated water jacket. I also have an LRK 350/14/9 outrunner.

I'm not able to post pics for some reason, can I email them to you? There's no motor, just the lower unit and coversion kit...
