Up for sale is a bone stock, practically unused UL-1. I bought this in the summer of 2011 here on the swap shop because it was a good deal, but I completely didn’t need it. At the time, I thought I may just pick it up to part out the motor and ESC, but as it turns out, I never needed them and this boat has sat on the shelf ever since I got it. It hasn't been wet as long as I've had it.
I was told it had been ran no more than 5 times, and judging by looking at it, I’d be surprised if it had been run that many times. No scratches, hariline cracks or anything of the sort.
I did remove the radio to use on a different boat, so for this sale, I’m including a new-in-package Tactic receiver to go with her (included in the pictures).
Again, this boat is practically new, and it is stock – motor, esc, prop and all.
There IS one flaw with this boat. In the from left (port) corner inside of the tub (up in the battery area) there is a small hole in the fiberglass. I’ve included a photo of the hole, which is quite a bit smaller than ¼” in diameter. Again, I was told the boat came this way and it sure looks that way (no marks indicating any kind of impact, cracking or anything). I could have easily fixed it with a drop of fibreglass, but like I said, I haven't had occasion to run this boat, so I never got around to it.
The boat comes in the original box, with manual.
I’m asking $220 for this UL-1 (shipping would be extra). It would be best for someone local (NW of Toronto) to pick this one up because shipping up here in Canada is prohibitively expensive (it is not at all uncommon to cost $50 to ship this to the US). No trades please, as the only reason I am selling is to fund a non-RC related project (and – if the wife is to be believed – already have too many boats…?)
Anyway, thanks for looking and post any questions here. No PM’d offers – please post offers only in this thread.
Also, if requested, I can get a shipping price for this UL-1 to the US or Canada if the buyer is willing to pay those dreaded costs.
