Awesome beginner 500 size heli, this thing is big. Has the V2 parts except the motor. Heli is in like new condition. Has 3 flights, one with a rotor strike which only caused damage to the head. The entire head/shafts were replaced. Has not been tuned or flown since parts were installed.

Hey Brushless55, its got the V1 motor, but everything else is switched to V2. Also it is considered a 500 class heli, as it is larger than a 450.

just bringing a little clarity to this heli so no one is mad its not a true 500 size heli when they get it
this one runs on 3s just like a 450 heli but with less power than a 450
true 500 size helis fly on 6s power and have a disc size of 38"
500s are also called 550s to some

No problem. They classify it as a 500 because of the size difference, granted its not a true 500 size heli, it is 9 inches longer than a 450 with the fuselage. So its really kind of an orphan as far as true size goes being in the middle.

As far as flying, it is a great beginner heli, or a easy not so nerve racking larger heli for a novice. Its fixed pitch so it will work with only a 4 ch transmitter, and is a lot easier to setup. Plus this one has a lot of give to it, where if your flying a 450 or 500 and you crash it your going to spend some time and money putting it back together almost every time you crash, they can be money pits, where the funcopter has a ton of give, its basically a larger more stable MSR that you can fly outside or strap a camera to.

Just watch a 58 seconds in, with any other heli it'll be almost toast.
