ESC shipped USPS priority. There is a small female bullet negative lead on the esc and the male lead that came with it for a spark arrestor. I didn't use it but it would be easy to solder a resistor and a simple alligator clip to bridge to the negative (male) battery connector then remove as you made the bullet connection.

Package arrived, and all seems in order. In yours pics, I did not see the male lead which contains the resistor. glad it's there now.
      Thankz Todd

Recieved your package also. I forgot I had that lead. Not sure if it is a resistor so measure it with an ohmeter.

You can see the outline of a resistor under the wire shrink. But since it is on the controller side, without peeling back the shrink there is no way of testing it. However, since it is stock from
Fightercat, one would assume it would be close to the correct ohm's. The resistor on my Fightercat 8s 200amp is on the battery side, and is 10.5 ohm's
I know you said that you didn't use a spark arrestor, but I'll just leave these links here, in case you are interested. Cheers Todd
