Yor are welcome Chris. It is not something I ever want to do. The kids have to realize that we do like having them around and helping them get started in rcboating. Our time is valuable and we turn in to cranky old men when it is waisted or some ones playing games.

Yup, it was getting old to me too.

I didn’t mean to sound like a crotchety old man, but the posts were getting ridiculous.

There was a plane up for trade, and I almost posted “Do you want to trade an xbox 360 for it?” But I thought there would appear that I was taunting him (which I guess I would have been).

It looked like the guy got scolded a few times, and rather than take it to heart he just decided to scrutinize the forum’s and find someone else that might have done something similar. Although his post of “get a electric not a nitro there a waste of time” is somewhat(?) opinionated, he didn’t realize that many of the members here run both, nitro & FE, and that comment probably irritated even more people than his xbox remarks.

I have tried to be encouraging to any new and potential FE boaters. I also know that many of you here are more knowledgeable that I am (and have possibly forgotten more than I even know) so I direct them to this site because it has been so helpful to me.

Too bad that someone’s knowledge base has been eliminated. But if there were more warnings that what I saw, well… you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'll quit my whining now.
