Hi, does it have 5.5"s on it and can you explain how the esc mount works.

it has OSE installed 5.5's. The esc mounts on top of the motor on the flat spot of the cooling fins using servo tape, velcro and/or zip ties . I had capacitor banks mounted there, but it will work with anything. I do have a plate that screws to the top of the cooling fins that I can include.

What size lipos did you run on the motor? Can it handle 5s ?

I ran it on 5S once and it ran good timing at 3 degrees motor was only 110 degrees.

So glad you answered that question, for I have the same motor, and was wondering if the RPM would be a bit too high. What boat?, and prop?
I will be using this motor in a Titan40, and hopefully, I can rig that Eagle tree I got from you to monitor.
BTW, mine cost $135.00, and I did NOT get that really cool, color matched ESC mount.
