Looks like they may have sent you a "repaired/fixed" one. But if it works, big deal, they are great ESC's.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:

Here is a closer picture. I just assumed it was new because it was the one thing that looked different from what I remembered on the boat. If it is not new, the esc still works great and looks new.
