Lehner 2240/5's and a pair of castle hydra ices to go with them

Ok so i have a pair of lmt 2240/5's hi-amp lk ( fan cooled can ) with maybe 20 minutes on them and in perfect shape. The motors have 6 connection points so can be wired in delta or Wye configuration along with 8mm shafts and include water jackets. I will be selling a pair of castle 240 hydra ice's to go with the motors. The esc's are new never powered condition along with never having connectors soldered on. The asking price is 1300 USD for everything shipped in united states. Please post all offers here in thread pm's will not be answered. Just a heads up this setup is also for sale locally. Thanks guys and I promise whoever gets this combo will love it I have another setup just like it and it's amazing.

Nice, if setup right, this is your 100mph ticket in a 44" ish cat. Nice gear Chris! I would say 5s for the delta and 7-8s for the wye. Good luck with the sale Chris!!

                Hello Kent,

seems as you may need a little more experience with choosing motors and combining a setup. The 2240/5's may work on 5S but thats more for the 115-120mph range already on X447's so better get an excellent ESC and a strong hull. I'd not run them on more than 4S each for standard use in Delta.
But in Wye on 7S each and a nice set of X447's this should be a very fast and reliable setup in the 95-100mph range. 8S is also possible and would offer even more potential.

                regards,
                manuel

Chris I've purchased 5 of the hydra ESCs in the last few weeks. I don't have an immediate need for more, but I might buy them for stock if the deal is right...let me know if you want to seperate them and if so how much for the pair.

@ Manuel, I correct to 4s then and take back the 5s suggestion (I guess you are not going to give me the change?) I always claim to be the "No Expert" and don't want to make wrong statements and misslead people. I do realise that 50K + is a "Bit" high....lets just make the excuse it was late :)

Would it be safe to run this setup on 5s and would the Castle esc's handle it?
