What ever dude. Since I worked at the post office for 7 yrs. my aunt just retired from there and my mom retired from the bank 4 yrs. ago no they don't change the stamps till the next morning. But shame on me for paying for something and wanting to know where it was. Been a pleasure doing business with you.

And yes you are right with the bank thing, deposits made after 1 are posted the next day, but the Date still remains the same.

I have dealt with hobby king. Got a order coming from them now. The problem is when you tell someone your going to ship it on a date and don't and then when you do ship it and show a receipt for it that is dated different then what you said. And when you ask about it you get accused of giving them grief about it.

Cant we all get along? I know Ive had a few instance where stuff didnt get shipped out as I thought it would. Thankfully my buyers were patient with me. The crappy part is where the lies come in.

I know Budman is eagerly awaiting this boat like a kid at Christmas! lol I hope to see it in two weeks in the water!

Swanny454, I can understand the bad taste this has left in your mouth, and I couldn't say that I wouldn't feel the same as you.
Similarly, if I recently had a heart attack and found out that I had cancer…I don’t know how patient I would be with the time I felt I had left on earth to play with boats!

But from one swanny to another, please don't let this one transaction push you away from this board…OSE, Steve, and the people here have so much to offer.

I am fairly new here and have found almost all of the knowledgeable folks here to be helpful, patient, and kind. I've not sold anything yet as I'm still new and in the "collecting" phase of my new addiction, but I have made a number of purchases with nothing but good things to say about the sellers...and yes, some of them shipped it out a day or three late.

You could always take a short vacation from the forum and check back in later to see how we're doing?

I guess it wouldn't have been a big deal but when you say one thing and do something else, or even when ask the seller if the object shipped and they say they are playing with they're toys have your money for 5 days and can't take 2 minutes to send you a message to let you know that the boat was shipped, it P'ed me off. And I'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot it would be the same way. As for giving a bunch of grief a bout it I ask Tuesday if it shipped, reply was no I have a appointment at 9am on Wednesday morning and that night you ask again did the boat ship and reply was I at the pond with my boats and if I don't spend the night at camper will send when I get home if not in the morning, And then ( now Thursday morning) still nothing, Send one more message did the boat get shipped yet and ask if not please refund money, you get a reply at 1 in the after noon that's says yes shipped on Wednesday(7-11-12) and shown a receipt that shows (7-12-12) and then to come on the forum page and say that I have been giving Grief about it, More like I was getting the run a round with it. And as for me having a heart attack last year and finding out I have cancer 3 weeks ago has nothing to do with it, Heart doing fine and Cancer will be gone at the end of this month, Just a small spot on my Kidney. Most common and most curable. I don't like the way this deal has went down, and wish it would have been more smoother. As for leaving the forums page I agree there is a lot of info and good guy's on here and don't see a reason to leave over it, but that's his choice.

Well I guess what at one time was a boat showed up today! As for the hole in the side (The hole side). Fixable? But I guess it was forgotten to tell about the Bow of the boat being CRACKED to pieces and the big hole in the bottom of the hull. The rudder looks like a dog chewed on it. It's got what I think is mud (not sure) all over it. Windshield is cracked and coming off.

And by the way The post mark's are all July,7,2012. So there is no way it was mailed on the 7/11/12.
Not sure yet but may be going back. Waiting for wife to see it as it was going to be her boat.

Smash the f'ing thing into pieces, send me pictures of it smashed into f'ing pieces, take a hammer and bend the living f*ck out of the trim tabs, and rudder and I will issue a full refund. BIG HOLE in the bottom, OMG seriously. I am serious, post pictures of it destroyed so there is nothing left and I will paypal your money back
