I would bring the strut up a little bit to keep it from hopping

I noticed when I bought the hull that the strut is 1/16" deeper than I ran on my old hull...I'll try bringing it up to 7/8"...thanks!

I run mine with the strut up as far as it will go, put it on a setup board and make sure the strut is flat. I ao have 5 or 6 oz of lead in the left sponson. Those are my setup tricks.

                        Strut Depth

                        Mark,
What is your distance from the bottom of the afterplane to the bottom of the strut?
Setup instructions say to start at 7/8"
                        Thanks,
                        Pete

i was told by jeff from insane boat to run the strut .5" from the bottom of the transom to the bottom of the strut how ever to get there you might need to mod the strut hole grinding it a little more to go up more

Yep, mines at a .5" I might try grinding the slot a little to get it up more to see how that goes. It really boils down to how agressive a prop you use. The more pitch and lift the prop has the higher the strut needs to go. I run an M545 on mine with a speck set up and mine runs very good with my settings.

Not unless your turn fin is on the left side of your boat.
