Is the label on the esc burned?

No. It was oriented towards the front of the boat and I didn't want it that way. I attempted to peel it off but most of the adhesive stuck, so I rotated it 180 degrees and applied some superglue to hold it in place. Since I got the new ESC the boat hasn't even been in water yet...

It was just my first test run and the water was a little choppy. Since then I've upgraded the ESC from a 180A HobbyWing to a 200A SwordFish, upgraded the prop and alligned the drive-train and can really hear a significant difference in top-end RPM.
