    88' - 89' Parma Ski Tiger / brushless feiago 9XLw/ 120a esc

Hello everybody, the ski tiger is still up for grabs.
How would you like a sweet old' skool mono !!!.

This is my 88' - 89' Parma Ski Tiger.
I took her down to the empty hull and worked her over. Then i went to a Brushless Feiago 9XL motor.
120amp esc, Prather prop, 3/16" flexi, full water cooling system, Villain pickup , through hull transome, aluminum tee, water cool esc and motor and dual outlets.

Here's the link to the build here:
    http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ight=ski+tiger

This is a far cry from stock, and never seen the water yet, i hate to let it go, but i got way to many toy's, and i gotta thin the herd some, since we're in a smaller house now.

This is priced to move at $120 plus shipping, get a nice piece of fe history before its gone !!!!. thanks.

Sorry if the lightings off a lil, I shot these indoors at 2:30 am with my tablet.
Now you can see the new water cooling stuff.
          Traxxas Villain pickup
          through hull aluminum transom
          Aluminum 3/8" tee
          Aluminum outlets
          120 amp watercooled esc
there is a sleeve on the Feiago 9XL motor as well
          Copper berilium Prather prop
          marine specialties aluminum rudder
That's a 2s 5000 mah lipo, used for testing the electronics
This esc is good for 8s lipo, i would run 3s to be safe though.

Pretty nice for a vintage surface drive mono on steroids huh !!!!.

Oops, the hatch is a simple flat retangle, no angles or bends. It's nothing extravagant so i didn't get it in a pic. I bet it would look better if i would have used 1/8" diamond plate though.

I ask because my 1988 Ski Tiger still has the original hatch, with drivers et. al. It looked pretty cool back in the day, still has the brushed motor in it.

Really, you've got a complete original ?? , now that is kool.
When i first got this, it was in sad sad shape. Search ski tiger in the boat builds, or i have the link in the post.

Thanks to, wingnut, diego boy and my pal sirislash, we figured out what it even was. The build has an original review for the ski tiger from wingnut.
He has the fall 88' issue of RCModeler magazine, where it's featured.

I wish i had the original hatch, atleast i rescued this from destruction and got r fixed up nice with the feiago 9xl. This ought to go like a ford pinto with a blown big block in it now. The original setup is what a 27-30 turn tamiya motor w/ a plastic prop. This ought to be nutz now.
What are you doing with your's ??.

Shoot me and make a wake some pic's, ve're vintage boat junkies. Thx
I hope someone appreciates this and gives it a good home.

I'll share with everyone. Pretty dusty, but you get the idea. My wife raced the boat for several seasons. Actually Parma had some of the most advanced RTR FEs back then. The Ski Tiger was one of the first surface drive FEs, and their hydro was pretty well designed as well. Enjoy.

I remember seeing the Parma sport hydro at the lhs some years back...that was right around the time I bought the MRP Miss Bud...

Does anyone have pics of that sport hydro?
