I had a cc 1520 with an ett 150 opto for an esc I rant on 5 and 6 cell in kept the speeds around 55 but the setup was capable of more. Found the hull handled the best at speeds no higher than that. If yo stay at the 50 mark this hull is totally awesome. It's probally one of the best rough water boats that I know of. You can see my videos in my YouTube of it running. This thing should run real nice with the 4092 in it. I also had a 4082 in another Titan I had and it had very similar performance as the 1520 did. You can see that one running as well in my YouTube videos

at 1730kv, 6s isn't a good idea? no? i have a t180 esc but havent gotten batteries yet.
What prop do you or OP recommend with current motor?

you could probably run 6s with that ESC/motor if you ran a m440 or smaller. Either way you are at the limits of the ESC on 6s, so it's more risky than a lower voltage setup.

I'm about to mount the trim tabs on my Titan 33, and I am curious as to why the mountings on this boat seem, *to me*, a bit more inboard than what I was planning, is there something I need to know???

But there used to be two sets but I only gave mike one set when I traded him so I guess he left the holes for the inner set and filled the outer holes before paint

the hull rides high out of the water and if you moved them outboard they would be used more for turns. you mostly don't need them on this setup. i would play with cg more
