castle hydra 240 esc

this is a castle creations hydra 240 esc. i had it in my box as back up and ended up using it a few times with a low amp set-up. it needs connectors as it has 3.5mm bullets and a deans plug on it right now. works perfect, never wet or hot, used about 4 times.

Be cautious updating firmware on these. I got a new replacement 240 lv a couple of weeks back and updated it. After that it would not arm and made the steering servo jump back and forth when plugged in. Luckily I was able to step back to the previous version and it works fine now.

Will that esc handle 8s or 10s on a 5692 730kv motor ?

I prefer it if the firmware is UN-updated. Lenny, it can only handle up to 6s without BEC.
