yeah i thought it would have sold quicker, im gessing if they would have seen my build thread on it and all the extra work i put in it like fiberglass in the sponson tips and sealing the hole inside with West Marine Systems, not to forget the carbonfiber plates where the struts mount and the tubes epoxyed in the rudder extention so the bolts dont crack the transom when tightening on the rudder bracket!!! O and the carbonfiber plate for the esc's to sit up on and the carbonfiber battery trays.
Quick question about the water pick-ups? Did you make them or did you buy them? And how well did they work with them not facing forward, looks like you mounted them with the angle facing each other not the front of the boat.
I didnt like how much i would have had to cut to install the floor mounted pickups so i had an old burned up proboat esc and i took out its water nipples cuz they screw in, so i drilled a hole in the floor and screwed them in then flipped the hull and cut them to have the front angle cut and then grinded the little tear drop shape in front of them, then flipped the boat back over and epoxied around them, as for how well they work i dont no, not enough testing time!!!!! but they are very solid and i like them better that way,,the carbon fiber is so glassy every time i try to take a pic you cant see them from the refection!!
Perhaps some performance vids could help sell this build. It seems the term " priceless" may have an issue in this I'm sure lowering the price would sell this boat however you want to get money for all the "labor" you've put into this build. Hopefully some one can appreciate how much time and creativity you've put into this, and pay that price. Again good luck!
trust me when i say im not trying to profit from this sale or get paid anything for my labor, the 1100.00 i have into it is all parts and im sure thats not all of it, i thought the 850.00 was giving it away but both my brother and my wife think im a fool for selling it for that..
