I assume you mean shouldn't Also, others have reported a problem when the esc was used with 10s lipo's, nothing less. Did your small load test consist of 10's, Steven? I'm looking forward to your responses, whenever they may be.

Since you are concerned about using the esc and motor, as long as you have not used it and not mounted it, please return the esc and motor in the original packaging for a refund.
It will be no good on less than 10s.

As for issues with the esc, I personally use the esc on 10s with no issues. Sure there have been customers that have had issues with a few esc's failing, but there isnt an esc on the market that hasn't failed. If you find one, please let me know which it is?

So long as the ESC half of this deal is new and comes with warranty, I have no problem buying the second set. In addition, I would like to exchange the Swordfish I have, Steven.

BW as I stated they are most definitely new no questions asked and if you have problems with anything Steve I'm sure will back you as he has helped me a coupple times with other requests I just realized it is a holiday weekend and Steve is probally not answering for that reason and has a lot on his plate sometimes I forget this as well as I just did with the problem I had to the 240's they are qreat controllers as I have severial of them and this was my first real problem with them I am 99% sure it was not my fault but there is always room for human error I would not worry about the issue I had I was just stating a problem I had. It was not to alarm anybody else and sorry if I did and Steve for sure would NEVER sell something that is knowingly faulty as new
