        Hear what shipping ups did to a nice boat,
        Ok, Good news boat showed up,
        Bad news is one of the sponson tips was crushed from shipping.
        I took some pictures of the box and boat,
        You can see on the box end two holes from the sponson,
        Being crushed though the end of the box.
        I can not post the pictures hear in the pm,
        I will post in the old thread.

        Not sure what to do from hear.

            Oh man that is bull sh** make a claim with them and they will half to pick up damages especially if it was insured I been through the same problem with ups and they did pick up the damages but it was a long fight I am sorry about all of this

              yep this is crap. it took 2 days for the tracking to show up and now they f----- it up
              I had it insured it for 100.00 i am waiting on lenny to call so we can work it out.
              i am trying to get a hold of ups now

                  UPS usually jusy says it was packaged incorrectly. They seldom pay insurance claims unless the package is lost.
                  Hopefully they honor this one and at leasy pay the $100.

                    That sucks big time!

                    I know all to well how UPS can be I have had mutiple problems with them when ordering custom machined engine parts for the cars I build. I personally watched the driver in front of my shop drop a Stroker crankshaft. I walked up and asked him if he would have wanted his 700 dollar crank dropped from waste high. He didn't have a whole lot to say

                      That is the bs they tried telling me but I told them that everything was packed perfect plus the guy at the ups store helped me pack it so stop the bs and they finally covered it good luck

                        This is very upsetting: I feel terrible for both the seller and the buyer. I had three boats that were damaged by UPS and FedEx. Two were the Samurai Cat that Minicat used to carry, one was on the rudder and the other was on the transom. Jim was kind enough to give me his own rudder and I was able to fix the busted seam on the transom. Worst was on the DF Sniper 45, exact same thing, the tip was smashed in, I couldn't even pull the packing foam away from the broken tip! UPS did nothing, guess I didn't scream loud enough. All were packaged extremely well. I now prefer local sales and that was why I picked a local Pursuit recently. My take is that we handle our boats with love and care, so what seems enough protection in packing is still no insurance against the abuse and careless handling by the delivery company. Took me over a month to rebuild the tip and it is still not perfect...

                          I am a little confused as to why you set up a dispute on this transaction.
                          I told you to get me a price on the repair, twice, and you still have not got back with me.
                          I also told you that I would give you the money that I get from UPS (staples claims) when it came in.
                          They told me it can take up to 8 weeks. I emailed you a copy of the claim I filed with them.
                          You have my phone number and two of my email addresses and I have not heard anything from you, Except the dispute I got from PP today. I even sent an extra speed control with the boat.
                          You can send it back and I will refund your money. Just the parts are worth more than what I charged you for it anyway. Or I can file it with PP claims and we can go from there.
                          I did not send you a broken hull it was damaged in shipping
                          I have been dealing with UPS to get money for you besides offering to pay for the repair on the hull.
                          I am not sure what you want from me.

                            Mike are you serious why would he make a claim against you Sorry to hear this I posted on a thread that Lenny started about Randy from Bby involved some lipos he stated they were junk and filed a dispute with him it makes me wonder if this is a normal thing for him if I can help feel free to call me Chris g

                                i put it in to paypal as a claim he has 10 days to get a quote on a repair or send it back
                                kind of crapy i talked to the guy for an hour when it happened cuz i felt bad
